Heroes of the Blues William Moore

Celebrating the great early Men and Women who where among the first to record the Blues!
William Moore
 1894-1955

A barber by trade, William Moore was born in Georgia around 1894 and spent most of his life in Tappahannac, Virginia. His eight extant sides, recorded at a single Paramount session in 1928, stamp him as one of the few instrumentally oriented performers of the era. Moore's upbeat music may echo the happy-go-lucky ragtime dances popular before the heyday of the blues; "Ragtime Millionaire" is probably his best known song. He died in 1955.

The underground comic book icon Robert Crumb was commissioned by Yazoo Records to create the Heroes of the Blues card set from which our t-shirts where created. Printed on 100% quality cotton tee you'll find the full collection of 36 color portrait only at Keep On Truckin' Apparel.
